Spearheaded by the International Council of Marine Industry Associations (ICOMIA) and supported by NMMA, the ICOMIA Asia project is an initiative to identify and understand obstacles to growth in Asia by working with the industry and authorities to create recommendations on how to develop a friendly recreational boating environment in the region.

Sponsors are needed to gain efficient funding. Phase one of the project will focus on the following nine countries: Brunei, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Macau, Malaysia, Singapore, Sri Lanka and Thailand.

Sponsors receive not only research but they can comment in advance on deliverables as each country’s individual report is drafted, right-up to the final report’s industry-wide publication and sale in 2017.
