Recognizing the importance of textiles as building block materials for new product development and the advancement in textile technologies, the College of Textiles at N.C. State University in Raleigh is hosting Textile Summit 2017 March 21-22. The conference will bring together faculty, staff and students with representatives from textile programs at Hong Kong Polytechnic University, Shinshu University, the University of Leeds and the University of Manchester. Sustainability, innovation and textiles fundamentals are some of the topics to be discussed.
