IFAI representative Kanav Gupta presents at ICTN in New Delhi

Kanav Gupta, ATA’s representative based in India, presented information on the U.S. technical textile market to delegates and attendees at the International Conference on Technical Textiles and Nonwovens (ICTN) December 6-8, 2018, at the Indian Institute of Technology, New Delhi.

Gupta reported the growth of technical and specialty fabrics in the U.S. is expected to increase by 2.7 percent to more than $34.6 billion USD compared to a worldwide growth of 2.8 percent. His presentation outlined the growth rates for a dozen U.S. end product market segments monitored by ATA.

He concluded his presentation by focusing on the opportunities of Indian companies in the U.S., pointing out that the U.S. tariffs on China could open the door for more Indian exports to the U.S.

In addition to Gupta’s presentation, ATA supported ICTN by acting as an Overseas Partner of the event.
