Puerto Rico pups steal hearts at IFAI Expo 2019

Four puppies are hoping to find their lifetime human companions on the show floor of IFAI Expo 2019.

Amid the latest fabrics, equipment, technology and services for the specialty fabrics industry, Lorenzo, Lilo, Lolo, and Lulo stole hearts, and, according to some dog loversthe show—at IFAI Expo 2019 in Orlando, Fla.

For this Expo, the Industrial Fabrics Foundation (IFF) and the Pet Alliance of Greater Orlando came together to promote two great causes. The four three-month-old mixed breed pups from Puerto Rico were available for cuddles and adoption, right on the show floor. With a donation, attendees delighted in play time with the pups, and collars and leashes were available as well.

The energetic puppies are spayed/neutered, microchipped, vaccinated and ready to find their “furever” homes—hopefully with Expo attendees.

With two central Florida locations, the Pet Alliance facilitates more than 7,000 dog and cat adoptions each year. The organization partners with rescue operations on nearby islands and takes in local animals that need new homes. The group promotes an “adopt don’t shop” philosophy with the goal of ending the problem of pet overpopulation so that the organization’s services are no longer needed.
