CET Infrastructure acquired independent geotechnical and geoenvironmental consultancy, Card Geotechnics Ltd. (GCL).

With headquarters in Surrey, UK, and some 75 staff operating from bases across the UK and Ireland, CGL is a consultancy providing innovative and pragmatic ground solutions for their current clients. They have a long history, working as specialist advisors to design and construction teams across residential, commercial infrastructure and power sectors.

Gary Corrigan, managing director for CET Infrastructure, said, “The acquisition of CGL further strengthens our position in the UK and Ireland geotechnical and geoenvironmental consultancy market and provides numerous synergies and opportunities that will benefit both CET, CGL and our clients. I look forward to working with the CGL team in what I see is a win-win for all parties concerned.”

Nick Langdon and Ian Marychurch, former owners of GCL, are “delighted to see the future of CGL secure with the same team and ethos that has been so valued by our clients and with the ambition for the company to grow further in the coming years.”
