Call for candidates: IFAI board positions
The Leadership Development Committee of the Advanced Textiles Association (ATA) is looking for individuals with strong leadership skills to fill the following positions:
- 1st Vice Chairman–2 year term (the individual elected to this position will be the “Chairman-elect” and shall automatically become Chairman of the Board at the completion of the incoming Chairman’s term).
- 2nd Vice Chairman–2 year term
- Director (1 position)–3 year term
Note: Amy Bircher (MMI Textiles Inc.) is the current 1st Vice Chairman and will automatically assume the duties of the Chairman of the ATA Board this Nov.
In order to be considered, a candidate must 1) be employed by a voting member company in good standing; 2) submit verbal or written confirmation that he/she wishes to be considered for a specific position on a specific board; and, 3) complete an application form, returning it to ATA, c/o Cherie Schmit, no later than June 21, 2021.

Each application received as a result of this notice will be reviewed by ATA’s Leadership Development Committee and all candidates will be notified of whether or not they have been elected to a position prior to any notice that is sent to the membership.
