The Geosynthetic Materials Association (GMA) of the Advanced Textiles Association (ATA) announced a new geosynthetics industry event entitled GeoNashville 2021: Geotechnical Innovations, Renewed Connections, which will take place Nov. 4–5, 2021, at the Music City Center in Nashville, Tenn. This event is geared toward all geosynthetics professionals to reconnect, share ideas, and see the latest products and applications from exhibitors across the industry.

“GeoNashville 2021 is planned to bring the industry back together as the first in-person post-COVID meeting and to attract the local engineering market to join us for plenary presentations with our invited speakers from the FHWA, FAA, and Army COE for views on the future of geosynthetics in their arenas,” said Fred Chuck, executive director of GMA. “Our venue is arranged to provide a more intimate setting with all the presentations and exhibits in the same room. Additionally, we have provided a forum (Innovative Technologies) for companies to promote their products.”

GeoNashville 2021 is a 1.5-day event that starts on Thursday, Nov. 4, with a full day of plenaries, networking events and dedicated time to visit a variety of exhibitors. The conference will conclude on Friday, Nov. 5, after a morning plenary session, panel discussion and a giveaway drawing. Registration will open in early June 2021. Exhibit booths and sponsorship opportunities are available now. Contact ATA director of sales and marketing, Amy Collins, for more information.
