Ultra-lightweight nonwoven mat
Gen 2 Carbon’s fully recycled, ultra-lightweight G-TEX 60 g/m2 nonwoven carbon fiber mats combine the flexibility of carded textiles with a lower fiber area weight, usually associated with wet-laid products. The mats can be processed with any resin system, used as either dry fabrics in liquid molding processes or as prepregs for autoclave and press molding. Thanks to the products’ excellent drapeability and superior surface finish, applications include the automotive, aerospace, electronics and wind energy sectors.
