USIFI/NFI Virtual Advocacy Day
The past year has brought many obstacles to the industry, and it is more important than ever to continue advocacy efforts to guide the path forward. This year, USIFI and NFI’s Advocacy Days will be held virtually to connect with government officials to discuss important trade and government procurement textile issues with Congress and key executive branch policymakers. Exclusive to USIFI and NFI Division Members, this event is vital to influencing policy decisions around key issues that impact industrial textile manufacturers.
This year’s event will begin with an exclusive session on lobbying virtually along with a deep-dive discussion of the issues with USIFI/NFI lobbyists the morning of April 13. Participants will be prepared as needed on how to connect on an online platform. Meetings will follow, beginning the afternoon of April 13 and carrying through the day on April 14. As in past years, we anticipate a combination of larger group meetings with committees of jurisdiction and meetings tailored to the companies participating to meet with their individual Congressional delegations and staff.
