Speaker: William Sismour, Industrial Capabilities Program Team Lead, Defense Logistics Agency – Troop Support
Bill is the Defense Logistics Agency Troop Support – Clothing and Textiles (C&T) Industrial Capabilities Program (ICP) Team Lead since 2013. The team assesses industrial capability and supply chain risk of vendors and suppliers supporting C&T managed items. Bill works with three other industrial specialists monitoring the C&T industrial base for constraints and supply chain disruptions that may negatively impact vendor deliveries. The team along with DLA buyers identify potential at-risk industrial base segments. Bill is also the C&T Warstopper Program liaison responsible for identifying industrial base investments that will close a gap in Service requirements and industrial capability. Prior to DLA, Bill worked as a publishing company project manager and a database programming consultant.
