By registering and attending this event, each person acknowledges and agrees to the following restrictions as the criteria of being accepted to attend.
Cancellations and Refunds
If you cancel before February 25, 2021 at 11:59 p.m. Central Time, you are eligible for a full refund; however, you may incur a processing fee of 10% of your total registration fees. Cancellation notifications must be emailed to Show Management at Events@IFAI.com before this time. Substitutions from the same company will be accepted in writing without penalty.
Upon proper cancellation, the full registration fee will be refunded, less the cancellation fee of 10% of your total registration fees, to the card associated with the original transaction. No refunds of any kind will be made for cancellations received after February 25, 2021 at 11:59 p.m. Central Time.
No refunds will be given for virtual “no-shows,” late arrivals, early departures, and/or anyone who fails to notify us by the cut-off date using the method listed above. If IFAI cancels this event for any reason, you are eligible to receive a full refund, less processing fees.
Substitutions, Transfers and Additions
You may transfer your registration to another eligible party if you are unable to attend Women in Textiles Virtual Summit 2021. Registration transfers must be made via email to Events@IFAI.com. You may not however, “share” your registration with someone else.
Virtual “Badge Scanning” and Registration Data
By registering for this event, you consent to your registration data being shared with the sponsors of the Women in Textiles Virtual Summit, including but not limited to: name and contact information.
It is the policy of the Women in Textiles Virtual Summit and IFAI to comply fully with the antitrust laws. In order to comply with those laws and to prevent this event from being used for unauthorized activities you agree to follow our Compliance Program Concerning Federal Antitrust Laws by registering for this event. These policies will be strictly followed throughout this event in order to protect all registrations, Women in Textiles Virtual Summit and IFAI. IFAI staff has periodically been briefed on the antitrust laws by IFAI counsel. If, during the course of this event a staff member requests a registrant cease and desist any discussion because of a potential risk, you are required to cease such discussion immediately and follow the instructions of the IFAI staff person. The views expressed by any Women in Textiles Virtual Summit attendee, speaker, or sponsor are not necessarily those of the Women in Textiles Virtual Summit IFAI or its representatives. All event attendees, speakers, and sponsors are solely responsible for the content of any and all individual or corporation presentations, marketing collateral, advertising and online web content.
Cancellation of Event and/or Education
Women in Textiles Virtual Summit organizers may at any time, with or without giving notice, in their absolute discretion and without giving any reason, cancel or postpone the conference, change any of the published particulars, or withdraw any invitation to attend. In any case, neither the organizers nor any of their officers, employees, agents, members or representatives shall be liable for any loss, liability, damage or expense suffered or incurred by any person. Although every reasonable effort is made to provide the speakers, topics, and sessions listed, some changes or substitutions may occur. Speakers and sessions are subject to cancellation or change up to and including the day the session(s) are scheduled to be held. Changes or cancellations are made at the discretion of IFAI and may be done without notifying attendees. If sessions are changed or canceled no refunds should be expected. Agreement to attend the Women in Textiles Virtual Summit acknowledges acceptance of this provision.
Code of Conduct
IFAI is committed to providing a safe, productive, and welcoming environment for all meeting participants and IFAI staff. All participants, including, but not limited to, attendees, speakers, volunteers, sponsors, IFAI staff members, service providers, and all others are expected to abide by this Virtual Programs Code of Conduct. This Policy applies to all IFAI meeting-related events, including those sponsored by organizations other than IFAI but held in conjunction with IFAI events, on public or private platforms.
- Be considerate of others
- Be respectful of others and viewpoints that may be different from your own
- Be mindful of your words and actions
- Harassment, intimidation or discrimination in any form.
- Verbal abuse of any attendee, speaker, volunteer, sponsor, IFAI staff member, service provider or other meeting guest.
- Examples of verbal abuse include, but are not limited to, verbal comments related to gender, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, religion, national origin, inappropriate use of nudity and/or sexual images in public spaces or in presentations or threatening or stalking any attendee, speaker, volunteer, sponsor, IFAI staff member, service provider or other meeting guest.
- Disruption of presentations during sessions or at other events organized by IFAI throughout the virtual meeting. All participants must comply with the instructions of the moderator and any IFAI virtual event staff.
- Presentations, postings and messages should not contain promotional materials, special offers, job offers, product announcements or solicitation for services unless expressly approved by IFAI. IFAI reserves the right to remove such messages and potentially ban sources of those solicitations. IFAI reserves the right to deny or revoke admission to anyone who engages in or is reputed to engage in unethical or non-compliant marketing practices.
- Participants may not copy, record or broadcast IFAI event content. This includes, but is not limited to, content shared via sessions, Q&A, chat room activity, or personal contact details without permission.
Consequences and Unacceptable Behavior
IFAI reserves the right to take any action deemed necessary and appropriate, including immediate removal from the meeting without warning or refund, in response to any incident of unacceptable behavior and IFAI reserves the right to prohibit attendance at any future meeting, virtually or in person.
IFAI has zero-tolerance for any from of discrimination, harassment or other behavior deemed unacceptable. If you experience harassment or hear of any incidents of unacceptable behavior, IFAI asks that you inform Events@IFAI.com so that we can take the appropriate action.
Recording/Live-Streaming of Sessions/ Pictures
Women in Textiles Virtual Summit does not allow the photographing, recording, or livestreaming of any session or events unless express permission is given by the speaker, facilitator, or event organizer. This rule is to protect the intellectual property of our speakers and facilitators. Anyone found to be in violation of this rule will be removed from the event without refund.
Liability Waiver & Release
In consideration of your registration and attendance of the Women in Textiles Virtual Summit, you waive any and all claims that you or any future agent or heirs has or may have in the future against IFAI, Women in Textiles Virtual Summit their agents, employees, servants, and officials and release them from all risks, liability and covenant not to sue them for any expense, loss, damage, personal injury, including loss of life, disability, property damage, or property theft, including reasonable attorneys’ fees and litigation expenses, or actions of any kind that you may suffer or sustain, before, during or after Women in Textiles Virtual Summit, unless such was caused by the gross negligence of IFAI.
