Solution: The SOLARBrella™ from SKYShades shields customers from the sun while simultaneously providing a power source to charge electronics such as cell phones, laptops or other small portable devices. The umbrella features Power Plastic®, a lightweight film produced by Konarka Technologies, which converts light into energy and stores power in batteries within the stem of the umbrella. The exterior of the stem has outlets for plugging in electronic equipment. Designed for outdoor venues such as hotels, swimming pools, restaurants and lounges.
