Published On: September 1, 2012

Specialty Graphic Imaging Association (SGIA) has released the Occupational Safety and Health Administration’s (OSHA) changes to the Hazard Communication Standard (HCS).

OSHA has made the changes to align the United States with the Globally Harmonized System of Classification and Labeling of Chemicals (GHS), which gives workers the “right to understand.” SGIA members have access to three detailed Hazard Communication fact sheets specific to the SGIA community: New Labeling Requirements, New Safety Data Sheet Requirements, and Changes that Impact Employers.
