Duane Digger Douglas Wood, former vice president of Coastal Canvas, died at his home under the care of hospice on Dec. 5 at the age of 69.

Wood worked at Coastal Canvas Company for 39 years. He was an active member in the Advanced Textiles Association and a past president of Zone 4— Virginia Carolinas Canvas products Association.
